Choose Love. Choose Love. Without this Beautiful Love,
Life is nothing but a burden.

This is how it always is when I finish a poem. A great silence overcomes me, And I wonder why I ever thought to use language.~ Rumi

“Come out of the circle of time And into the circle of LOVE.”

Each moment
contains a hundred messages from God:
To every cry of “Oh God”
He answers a hundred times, “I am here.

Rarest Blessing Flow

Of rarest Blessing flow,
From nothing I could sow,
And nothing I can keep,
Unless my Father willed it so,
With Joy my heart does weep
With Peaceful praise too deep,
For I am weak and low,
More than I can even know,
But now my heart does leap
From the Blessing that I reap!

Giving Thanks

Lounging long upon a river’s banks
Masses of money, an important concern
Too selfish to know to render thanks,
Or lessons to ever ancient learn.
It is plainly obvious to some
That even the blind should see,
In time the fruit that rots
Falls steadily from the tree.
For many have gone before,
Finding faith to put down fear,
Seeking peace within a war,
Yet stand for things held dear.
The here and now is different
As reason and rhyme give way
To whatever the will wants
Like some sort of tasteless trend
That makes the ugly proud.
Who returns from the grave
After drinking hedonistic hypocrisy ?
As the days grow shorter
Where are those that give thanks ?
They stand in the rain waiting for justice.
And Bask in the little light
That dimly remains.

Easy Way Out

How can you know the pain I feel?
You don’t feel it;
I hope you never do.
How easy it is to forget,
How easy to let
Your mind become blue.

Easy way out
for so many,
Easy way out
A little sin.
Easy way out
Giving in.
Easy way out
Don’t want to remember,
Easy way out
But I’ll never admit.
Easy way out
It’s just a little bit.
So keep it subconscious,
Let’s take an
Easy way out.

Well there’s no easy way to heaven,
I don’t recall,
Where it’s ever been easy for me.
Denying self to carry a cross,
In obedience and love,
I am wondering how it could be?

There is pain…
There is sin…
There is rain…
Coming in…

The River Flows

The river flows
To where God only knows,
Meandering.
Foam floats atop
It never seems to stop
But goes and goes,
Like a breeze that blows,
Or a die that’s cast,
I do not need to know,
Where the river may flow.
Time escapes the past
And will never last,
But will for just a moment stay,
We only live in each today.
So the only question still,
As the river runs until,
To bigger ever brighter things,
And hear the heart that truly sings.
In quietness and trust abide,
Total surrender puts off pride.
For where the river runs is wild,
But I am truly just a child,
And I sit to watch the river flow,
To where God can only know…

Roaring Wind and Mist Refresh

I stood upon the rock.
It did not move.
The wind roared all around
Wild and rushing, cleansing,
Revealing, Refreshing.
Without a word
It spoke to my soul
Silent but strong
Of a powerful good
Quite bigger than me,
More Holy than eye could see.
It blasted, blew
And before I knew
It soaked my skin
With rainbow mist,
Like being kissed
By the Spirit of God.
And as it roared and rushed around
It came to me that I had found
A beauty that could captivate,
And satisfy a sinful state.
It was so much more
Than that rush of wind
Or wistful mist.
It was Love, it was power,
It was a Holy Ghost shower.
So I walked away
Wet refreshed anew,
And something more to say.
About the good
That permeates,
And whisper Roars
And still creates.
Good I say, it’s good!
Wash away the stain,
The pain replace
With Joy and Love and Grace…

By chance my ship landed on your planet of war
Were your monsters and giants trampled the fields of luv

You were the soul that chose me to fight beside you in the darkness
Each battle drained blood from the core of my beautiful being

Together we bound the giant and threw him into a pit
Finally your curse was broken and the dragon who sat in front of the sun flew away

Light entered your planet to birth green hills and valleys
The breath of life was forced by dew from God’s tears to nourish and heal

You lived in the old city to plant seeds and renew your mind
I waited for you everyday in a home prepared by angels

As each day passed loneliness grew roots inside my heart
I realized God created me to be an invisible soul erased by war

I knew it was finally time to catch the train to the old city
For the last ship has arrived to fly me back to my planet

I rode threw the memories and counted all my dreams on the way
I remembered the day by chance our eyes met and yu sang me a song

1. Stuff a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of a sugar cone to prevent ice cream drips.

2. Use a meat baster to “squeeze” your pancake batter onto the hot griddle and you’ll get perfectly shaped pancakes every time….

3. To keep potatoes from budding, place an apple in the bag with the potatoes.

4. To prevent eggshells from cracking, add a pinch of salt to the water before hard-boiling.

5. Run your hands under cold water before pressing Rice Krispies treats in the pan and the marshmallow won’t stick to your fingers.

6. To get the most juice out of fresh lemons, bring them to room temperature and roll them under your palm against the kitchen counter before squeezing.

7. To easily remove burnt on food from your skillet, simply add a drop or two of dish soap and enough water to cover bottom of pan, and bring to a boil on the stovetop.

8. Spray your Tupperware with nonstick cooking spray before pouring in tomato-based sauces and there won’t be any stains.

9. When a cake recipe calls for flouring the baking pan, use a bit of the dry cake mix instead and there won’t be any white mess on outside of the cake.

10. If you accidentally over-salt a dish while it’s still cooking, drop in a peeled potato and it will absorb the excess salt for an instant “fix me up.”

11. Wrap celery in aluminum foil when putting in the refrigerator and it will keep for weeks.

13. Place a slice of apple in hardened brown sugar to soften it.

14. When boiling corn on the cob, add a pinch of sugar to help bring out the corn’s natural sweetness.

15. To determine whether an egg is fresh, immerse it in a pan of cool, salted water. If it sinks, it is fresh, but if it rises to the surface, throw it away.

16. Cure for headaches: Take a lime, cut it in half and rub it on your forehead. The throbbing will go away.

17. Don’t throw out all that leftover wine: Freeze into ice cubes for future use in casseroles and sauces.

18. If you have a problem opening jars: Try using latex dishwashing gloves. They give a non-slip grip that makes opening jars easy.

19. Potatoes will take food stains off your fingers. Just slice and rub raw potato on the stains and rinse with water.

20. To get rid of itch from mosquito bites, try applying soap on the area and you will experience instant relief.

21. Ants, ants, ants everywhere … Well, they are said to never cross a chalk line. So get your chalk out and draw a line on the floor or wherever ants tend to march. See for yourself.

22. Now look what you can do with Alka Seltzer. Clean a toilet. Drop in two Alka-Seltzer tablets, wait twenty minutes, brush and flush. The citric acid and effervescent action clean vitreous china. Clean a vase. To remove a stain from the bottom of a glass vase or cruet, fill with water and drop in two Alka-Seltzer tablets. Polish jewelry. Drop two Alka-Seltzer tablets into a glass of water and immerse the jewelry for two minutes. Clean a thermos bottle. Fill the bottle with water, drop in four Alka-Seltzer tablets, and let soak for an hour (or longer, if necessary). Unclog a drain. Clear the sink drain by dropping three Alka-Seltzer tablets down the drain followed by a cup of Heinz White Vinegar. Wait a few minutes, then run the hot water.

I welcome the oceans waves as they breath the hearts beat of the earth. Resonating the joys of life. Breath is taken, I’m powerless and strong. It embodies an awakened passion and gods wrath in a crash, it carries its peace on its back and vibrations of peace release in its silence. I’m home ~ * ~
